Sullins Electronics, Inc., a global leader in the design and manufacture of RoHS-compliant board level interconnect products, today announced that the corporate action to change its company name is concluded and the company has begun operating under its new name, Sullins Connector Solutions, Inc., effective immediately. As part of this corporate action, Sullins Connector Solutions has adopted a new logo, and Internet domain name. The changes reflect Sullins’ new positioning as a single-source for an expanding portfolio of connectors encompassing both the Sullins and MicroPlastics brands.
Sullins’ CEO Wade Harb stated, “We anticipate that our new name and corporate identity will enhance brand recognition for our full lines of edgecards, headers, bi-level, and CompactPCI™ connectors, as well as more accurately indicate our core competencies as an interconnect solutions provider. We believe it better reflects our focus on problem solving, along with our expertise in all facets of connector technology, from engineering and manufacturing, to delivering quality parts directly to OEMs or assemblers. It is also our intention that the new name will emphasize the broad-based management changes and strategic initiatives recently implemented to grow our business, and meet the needs of our growing customer base.”
The company’s newly designed and enhanced Website, www.sullinscorp.com, will be online in June, 2008.
